Here’s the deal, squats are THE BEST exercise to: Lose weight Gain muscle Get lean Get strong Regain youth Make you look awesome . Get what I’m saying? . When your knees hurt, you’re doing it wrong. When your hips hurt, you’re doing it wrong. When your back hurts, you’re doing it wrong. . So here’s how to fix all of that. FAST. . Problem One: sliding the hips back to ‘beg’ for the glutes, and then you lead with your butt, then your back, then butt, etc. . Problem Two: bottom out (ass to grass) under load. This stresses the quadriceps tendon and collapses the patella into the Tibia and Femur. . Problem Three: muted hips, as you get to the top of the squat, the pelvis stays muted and you ‘lean forward.’ . Here’s how you handle all of these problems and keep on squatting for a LONG time! . And…reclaim some lost horsepower!! . 1️⃣ Box Squat Pause - 3 sets of 15 2️⃣ Banded Hip Hinge - 3 sets of 20 3️⃣ Squat Rotation - 2 minute hold .
